Oh, you haven't heard this one yet? I guess you have yet to have a drink with Ryan.&nbsp; OUR HISTORY Well for the few that missed out on the fairytale, the Middleton and Sempowski wedding is 19 long years in the making. From best friends to the love of a lifetime.&nbsp;As many of you are aware, “our story” is a bit complex. This voyage has taken us to North Carolina to Boston to California to Afghanistan to Seattle, and ironically it begins again where it all started.&nbsp; The exciting journey began in 8th grade Spanish class where Brittany was busy taking notes and Ryan was busy trying to make her laugh. Somewhere between Ryan’s tough guy charm and Brittany’s kindness, something clicked between us in that classroom and the spark never really went away. Our relationship grew through a shared love of soccer, late-night phone calls, and a prom proposal straight out of a teen rom-com. Did we mention late-night phone calls? Ryan called Brittany all the time – to talk about music, life, or (let’s be honest) absolutely nothing at all. After months of texts, calls (free minutes after 9), and major butterflies, Ryan FINALLY made it official and asked Brittany to be his girlfriend on Halloween night. Exactly 19 years later, to that day, we will be saying “I do.” Through every chapter – high school graduation, career changes, breakups, makeups, and cross country moves – our love has grown stronger, deeper, and filled with more laughter than we ever imagined. High school sweethearts would be an understatement; soul mates are more accurate. We never stopped talking, whether we were a few miles, states, or countries away, the phone calls were our constant. It was our way of checking in, and reminding each other that no matter what changed or what was going on in our lives, our love remained the same. To be truthful, it hasn’t always been easy. We have weathered distance, major life changes, life’s unexpected turns, and the kinds of hurdles that test even the strongest bonds. But through every challenge, we chose each other again and again. Today our home is full of warmth, joy, and the happy chaos of our three goldendoodles, Chloe. Clyde, and Charlie, who rule the house and our hearts. They have been there for all the recent milestones – offering unconditional love, lots of cuddles, and just the right amount of muddy paw prints. DID YOU KNOW? ·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Did you know….Ryan proposed to Brittany in the middle of Glacier National Park? No cell service, just nature and pretty views.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Did you know…The longest amount of time Brittany and Ryan went without talking during the 19 years was 1.5 years? We don’t count this time, 19 years it is!·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Did you know…music is what brought Brittany and Ryan together? Tom Petty (RIP) had a big influence on our relationship over the years.·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Did you know…Brittany and Ryan were born exactly 84 days apart and our birthdays are on the same day every year? Coincidence?·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Did you know…Ryan pretended to enjoy running to impress Brittany for years? Ryan’s high school soccer coach asked him how he got in such great shape his senior year and Ryan’s answer was – “Brittany.” A MESSAGE TO OUR PEOPLE Thank you all for being there (and putting up with us) during all of the ups and downs and smiles and tears. We wouldn't be exchanging our vows on October 31, 2025, if we didn’t have each and every one of you. We look forward to forever and are very excited for the pages to come. But first? We cannot wait to celebrate with all of you – our family and friends – at what we fully intend to be the party of the century (or at least a really, really good one). Let’s make memories, toast to all the precious past and future moments, and dance into our next chapter – together. In the words of Taylor Swift, are you ready for it? Let’s do this!
